Technical Evaluation Group (TEG)

Overview 

The Technical Evaluation Group or TEG reviews site plans in order to ensure that proposed and existing commercial development complies with all County ordinances and State regulations.  The TEG members review and provide comments on proposed site plans and revisions to commercial site plans within the time guidelines of the Site Plan and Subdivision Process Chart.  Reviews include landscaping and multifamily projects.

Meetings 

TEG Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except for November and December, due to the holidays).  The meeting begins at 8:30am.

Members

Members who participate in the review of proposed site plans include staff from Department of Planning & Zoning, Department of Economic Development, Department of Public Works, Department of Public Safety,  Soil Conservation District, Environmental Health, Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and the Maryland State Highway Administration.
