In order to provide the best possible experience for facility patrons, the Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation announces that it will adjust hours and services of various Parks & Recreation facilities, due to seasonal staff shortages.  If you are interested in a position with Parks and Recreation please apply at: calvertcountymd.gov/Employment

Outdoor pools are currently closed for the Season.  Outdoor pools will reopen for the 2022 season on May 28, 2022. Hours of operation at Cove Point Pool have been modified as follows:

Lap Swim will not be offered at Cove Point Pool.  The Hall Aquatics Center will be available for those that wish to participate in lap swimming. 

Know before you go

Children 12 years and younger require supervision by a responsible person at least 18 years old. Children 5 and younger require in-pool supervision by a responsible person at least 18 years old.

Inflatable water wings, boats and other vests will no longer be permitted to be used at any Calvert County Parks and Recreation swimming pool unless they are Coast Guard Approved as a personal flotation device (PFD). Please check the label of any floatation device to determine that it meets this requirement. Life preservers and other community equipment is unavailable for public use at this time due to COVID-19 precautions. Users must provide their own equipment.
