Cool Kids Camp
This weekly day camp is designed for children ages 6-12 year. Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, arts and crafts, games and field trips. Trips may include Cove Point Pool, Flagship Cinemas, Lord Calvert Bowling and more. This camp program is formatted in a weekly structure. Camps will be offered at Mt. Hope Community Center, Plum Point Middle School, Northeast Community Center and Southern Community Center according to the following schedule:

Pre-registration is required. To register, please call 410-535-1600, ext. 2649. A deposit of $25/child/week will be required to hold your child's spot in a camp. Remaining balance and completed form will be due 3 weeks prior to the start of the session.
Campers will learn to interact with peers, law enforcement officers and volunteers in a criminal justice setting. Our program will engage children, both physically and mentally, through numerous activities and presentations given by the various teams within the Sheriff’s Office; K-9 Unit, Community Action Team, D.A.R.E and Special Operations Team. Our mission is to teach children the importance of discipline, self-respect, integrity, confidence and teamwork - all of which are essential to becoming a productive member of our community. This camp requires each camper to interact with other campers and CCSO officers all while engaging in new experiences. Cost is $20 per child. Camp fee includes a t-shirt, water bottle, swimming and snacks.
Camp will be offered 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Cove Point Park for the following sessions:
Grades 6-7 June 20-24
Grade 7-8 July 11-15

This one-week camp held at Northeast Community center is designed for children ages 8-12 years looking to improve their basketball skills and take them to the next level. The camp's focus will be on improving each fundamental skill set plus teach some other skill sets not usually taught. Instructions will include ball handling, shooting, movement with and without the ball, court awareness, game play and much more. Camp will be held Tues-Fri, 6/21-6/24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $175.
