PUBLIC HEARING CALVERT COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Budget Adjustment 054 – Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program

The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room at 175 Main Street, Prince Frederick, Maryland. The Public Hearing time, date, and location may be revised by announcement of an emergency, such as inclement weather, without further publication and may be confirmed on the County website, or calling any number listed below on the date of the Hearing. At the Hearing, the Board will consider and receive comments regarding Budget Adjustment # 054 to adjust the FY2022 Department of Public Safety budget to account for the grant award received from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the FY2020 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program in the amount of Four Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Dollars ($497,000.00). Awarded funds are used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to fires and emergencies in accordance with the grant agreement.

The proposed Budget Adjustment may be substantively modified, revised, amended or otherwise changed based upon comments received at the public hearing.
