Wednesday, Nov. 26 - Zootopia 2 10 a.m.

Special showing for Therapeutic Recreation at Flagship Cinemas in Prince Frederick. One theater will be dedicated exclusively for TR Participants. Tickets may be purchased at the door.  Zootopia 2 Flyer (PDF)

Saturday, Dec. 6 - Snowball Dance 7-9 p.m.

Dance ethe night away like Cinderella or Prince Charming with TR at the BADD Company Dance Studio. Attire is semiformal. High-heeled shoes are not permitted. Cost is $5 per participant. Snowball Dance Flyer (PDF)

Wednesday, Dec. 10 - Annmarie Garden in Lights Special Needs Night 

5-7 p.m.

Come and enjoy an exclusive evening at Annmarie Sculpture Garden for for families and friends with special needs individuals. Admission fee to be determined by Annmarie Garden. Preregistration is not required. Garden in Lights Special Needs Night Flyer (PDF)

Saturday, Dec. 13 - Main Street Christmas Parade 10 a.m. to noon

Join in the annual Calvert County Holiday Parade, hosted by the Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation. Experience the festive atmosphere as the parade starts near the intersection of Church and Main Street, continues along Main Street, onto Duke Street, through the Prince Frederick Shopping Center and along Church Street. The parade route and parking map can be found at CalvertCountymd.gov/SpecialEvents. Preregistration is not required.

Tuesday, December 16 - Sensory Sensitive Santa 2-3 p.m.

Santa Claus is coming to TR TR Town! Little ones can enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities and an opportunity to visit with Santa in a sensory friendly atmosphere. This program is for children 18 months to 5 years. Sensory Sensitive Sant Flyer (PDF)

Saturday, Jan. 24 - TR Caregiver Wellness Day @ 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The goal of Wellness Day is to provide caregivers of individuals with special needs a restorative and supportive experience focused on stress relief, relaxation and self-care. Caregivers dedicate themselves to the well-being of others and this event is designed to allow them time to recharge, connect with the community and experience a variety of wellness modalities. This event is free of charge.

Saturday, Feb. 28 TR Duck Race 10th Anniversary Event 12:30-4:30 p.m.

Bring your friends and family to the Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center for an afternoon of laughter, dancing, games prizes and more all leading up to the big race! Preregistration is not required for the event, only the race. Duck Race Flyer (PDF)
