Capital Projects is a division of Public Works that manages Calvert County Capital Projects from planning and budgeting to completion of construction. These projects include but are not limited to transportation, new recreation areas, community centers and administration buildings. Project examples include the new county administration building, Ward Farm Park and improvements to Fairgrounds Road. The Capital Projects division also assists with resolving citizen concerns regarding traffic issues, drainage issues and supports our Highway Maintenance Division when needed. A fundamental piece of the division is the Project Management Division (PM). The PM is instrumental in moving capital projects through construction and final opening to the public. PM also manages the grading inspection and road inspection for private development within the county.
