2022 Tyler Technologies Public Sector Excellence Award Winner

Calvert Emergency Communications Division was named a 2022 Tyler Technologies Public Sector Excellence Award winner for its innovative use of Tyler’s Enterprise Public Safety and Fire Field Mobile solutions. During a severe winter storm that generated 105 emergency calls, telecommunicators used integrated mapping tools to track blocked roads, downed trees, and power lines in real time. First responders accessed the live map in the field, improving situational awareness, enhancing safety, and allowing them to reroute independently—freeing dispatchers to answer additional 911 calls. Calvert County was one of 29 public sector agencies nationwide recognized at the Tyler Connect user conference for excellence in deploying Tyler solutions.
