Youth Mentoring Program

Calvert County Parks & Recreation’s (CCPR) is pleased to host our first-ever Youth Mentoring Program made possible through a grant provided through the National Recreation and Parks Association. CCPR is one of 29 agencies nationwide to receive this grant to start a youth mentor program in our area.

The Youth Mentoring Program is designed to enrich the lives of the youth ages 9-15 years in the community through fellowship, education and activities that include life skills, good citizenship, health and wellness and more in a fun interactive program.

Program Details

Two 10 week programs annually, offered fall (October to December) and Spring (March to May).
Sessions will meet once per week on a weekday evening for approximately 2 hours.
Sessions will meet at the following meeting locations: Northeast Community Center and Southern Community Center.
Family Engagement Events meant to be fun and also allow you as the parent or guardian access to our staff and our mentors to ask any questions and just check on your child’s progress during their time with us.

We are currently looking for mentors, youth mentees, donors, partners & sponsors!
